Since a few years now, it's been restored from ruins, and it is now a very pleasant Renaissance castle to visit .

It raised of an ancient roman fortress, of which you still can see the first wall, and the gibbet, symbol of the seigneurial rights.

Once the first wall passed, you face a monumental door, designed to show off the owner's wealth.

Almost all buildings can be visited, from stabbles to home. There are great reconstituion of the inside, especially the two kitchens (one undergroud for the servants
Has to be seen too, the chapel, which roof is a masterpiece of capentry, enlighted with hundred of wooden sculptures.

Most of them were in a very bad state, butthe restauration is just fantastic.
I stayed about half an hour with my nose up before my neck reminded me i was made to look my feet better !
Back of the castle is a very nice park, with its enchanted fountain.
But the britanic rain made the fairies flee...
