Can you freeze tiramisu ? How long will it keep in the fridge? I'm having visions of sallmonella poisoning from the raw eggs.. stupid.gif

We have no idea what it is, let alone what you do with it.......eggs?? ask_questions.gif

its an Italian dessert....lady fingers soaked in esspresso and brandy with marscapone cheese (sweetened and mixed with the eggs) and cocoa...it gets layered like a truffle.

If you are worried about it, then leave the eggs out of it. To make it airy, whip it real good in a bowl with the sugar and then fold in some whipped cream. You could also fold in Sabayon which is a cooked egg and sugar mixture if you know how to make that. But I would just go with the whipped cream or stop worrying. The fridge temp should take care of the Salmonella bacteria. You eat sunnyside up eggs, right? They don't get hot enough to kill the stuff either, but people eat em every day. cheeburga.gif

Oh and by the way, Trifles get layered, not Truffles. rasp.gif
